Sweet Presence

Today I'm often thinking of you,
And the loss of your special friend.
Those who have never had a pet
Cannot possibly comprehend.

A pet gives unconditional love
Nothing else can quite replace;
A sweet presence with its furry warmth,
That lovable, one-of-a-kind face.

You gave your pet a happy life,
With affection true and real;
I'm hoping you'll recover soon,
So your heart will mend and heal.
